I am baffled by a problem I have with Windows 98. I used to be able to right-click a file and use Send To in order to transfer files to a floppy disk. I can now only send to the desktop, Mail Recipient, My Briefcase and Web Publishing Wizard. Where has my floppy drive gone?
You must have inadvertently deleted it. The items that appear in the Send To submenu are shortcuts that live in the Windows Send To folder. If you look in that folder you'll see shortcuts for all the items that currently appear.
To reinstate 'Send to floppy drive A', just drag a shortcut from the A drive in the lefthand pane of Windows Explorer to the Windows Send To folder. You can add Send To items for other removable media in exactly the same way.
